As obvious as it may seem by my profession, I’m a pretty big romantic. I love romantic comedies, I cry when I hear real life love stories and my heart always melts a little at every wedding I attend. When I started photographing weddings, it seemed like the perfect fit for my romantic soul and when Erica and Allan wanted me to document their central park wedding, well, that was the epitome of my romantic-comedy loving heart (27 dresses, anyone?!?)
As luck would have it, their wedding day was just as perfect as any movie staring Julia Roberts, Kate Hudson or J.Lo. It was timeless, classic and with hints of their fun-loving personalities. They came into the reception via gondola (Allan’s idea!), had a momofuku birthday cake surrounded by Dough donuts and at the end of the night, Erica and the band surprised Allan with a little Beyonce serenade. It was an honor to be a part of their magical day!
