Devin + Carly / Wedding at the Raleigh Hotel

Sometimes no matter how much we plan and pray, things just don’t go our way. It’s a sucky fact of life and a lesson the weather decided to teach on Devin and Carly’s wedding day. When they first began planning their wedding, they chose February 6th, the historically driest day in Miami, to better their chances of having their dream outdoor wedding go uninterrupted. As luck would have it, the rain had other plans.  Tents went up and we braced ourselves for a big storm while still keeping our hopeful fingers crossed.

Luckily everything went on perfectly. The rain took pause while Devin’s late dad’s best friend helped them exchanged vows under a Chuppah. The clear tent that gave us refuge during the reception rain looked absolutely magical reflecting all the string lights and as luck would have it, the storm held off until everyone was safely underneath it, ready to party.
