As the cliched American I am, the only thing I knew about Thailand was Pad Thai and that Leonardo Dicaprio movie from the 90s. Visiting Bangkok was a treat to all the senses but most importantly, learning about it’s religious and political history gave me a greater appreciation for it’s culture we take for granted back at home.
